General Information

-PTF -  There are extra Butter Braids and Cookie Dough available. Please call Chandra @539-4252. THANK YOU PTF for purchasing the Weather Station for the 3rd and 4th grades. It is really cool!

-SSI – Registrations packets for Summer Program can be picked up at SSI or in the school office. Children currently enrolled in SCS will get first choice!

-Registration – You should have received a packet for registering for the 2008-2009 school year. If you did not, please let the teacher or office know.

-Reminder! – Lunches are $2.50; punch ticket is $50.00 for 20 punches. Milk is .45; punch ticket is $13.50 for 30 punches.

-1st Monday of the Month – We will be collecting donations for our Compassion International child Abel, whom SCS is sponsoring. The student’s generosity has been wonderful to watch and the Lord will surely bless a joyful giver!

-Recycling – We are once again recycling plastic bags. The collection bin is downstairs. Thank you for your participation. SCS did great last year and it is a good way to raise money for the school and do our part in being good stewards of what the Lord has created!<

-Loaf n’ Jug – Is offering .10 cent back to schools on milk products! Bring sticker off of products to school just like Box Tops.

-Used cartridges and cell phones - We are still collecting used cartridges and cell phones. Please bring to the school and put downstairs in the collection room. This money is used to help the school as needed. So ask everyone you know to collect theirs and bring them to the school. It is a HUGE help!

-Box Tops and Campbell’s soup labels are also being collected just drop them in the mailbox inside the school door. This has been very rewarding for SCS!

Reminders for your calendars!

April 25 – Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale “Spring Singers” will be performing at a school assembly 9:00 am. This is a great opportunity for our school and parents are invited to attend.
May 1 – National Day of Prayer – Lets gather at the flag pole at 8:00 am and pray for our nation, our leaders and our school…
